Rodenticide Standards Review
From 1st January 2026, new rules under the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU) stewardship regime will come into force, changing who can legally purchase and use professional-use rodenticides. Under these changes, farmers, will no longer be able to rely on FAWL membership alone as evidence of competence. Instead, you will need to provide alternative proof of qualification to buy or apply professional rodenticide products.
In light of these changes, we have reviewed the relevant standards in the FAWL scheme. These will be applied from the 1st March 2026.
